email configuration
There are two ways of accessing emails for your domain. You can either set up POP3 accounts with your domain host, and each person logs in directly
to the email server to collect and send their email; or you can have one catch-all email that is collected by an email server program in your office
that distributes the email to your users locally.
There are a number of pros and cons for both options, so why not contact us and find out which works best for you.
JARGON BUSTER: A POP3 Account stands for Post Office Protocol version 3. It is a protocol used to retrieve email from a remote server to a
local client (your PC) over the Internet.
JARGON BUSTER: A catch-all mail account means that no matter who an email is addressed to at the mydomain.com account, it is all placed into a
single email account.
EXAMPLE: XYZ Inc. has offices all around the world. In the first POP3 example, the Royal Mail would separate out the post for their London
office and deliver only their mail to them. In the second catch-all example, all the mail for XYZ Inc. worldwide would be delivered to their New York
HQ, where it would be sorted by the mailroom and forwarded internally.

NM Consulting has years of experience in both server and client-side scripting.
JARGON BUSTER: Server-side scripting is a web server technology in which a user's request is fulfilled by running a script directly on the web server to generate dynamic web pages.
JARGON BUSTER: Client-side scripting is a part of the dynamic web page concept. It enables web-pages to be scripted from your browser after the page has loaded - rather than sending the information back to the server.
